The Seattle SWAT team was called out this morning around 8:30AM to respond to a report of a woman walking around the 700 block of 26th Ave with a sword. After a long stand-off outside her apartment, police broke in to find her peacefully passed out on the bed....

I work in Sodo and I see this graffiti everyday. I think that some of it is definitely art, but most is an eyesore. I guess its a problem in every city. I think the Seattle could do better though. Do you think its art? Do you want it in your neighborhood? on your house or business?

Neigbhors in the CD were shocked to hear a truck slam into the house next door this morning around 6:30 am. A passing bicyclist saw the truck come screaming east on E. Columbia, take a hard right in the middle of the block, and tear down a driveway and into the back corner of the next house....
